Scholarship Winner Updates

In the past year, two time Gateway scholarship winners, Mama’s Wranglers, celebrated the opening of their brand new dinner theater in Henderson.
The first Gateway Arts Foundation’s scholarship winner from 2009, Stephanie Fry Ferazzi, is now an executive with Ceasar’s. We are honored to include Stephanie as a vibrant new board member of the Gateway Arts Foundation.
Gateway winner Daniel Werth has received a commission to create an entire score for a ballet written by Francis Xavier Dumont. Watch for the premiere!

Two time Gateway Arts Scholarship winner, Alex Christopher, is touring the world teaching English and sharing his joy of music.
Two time Gateway Arts Scholarship winner, Philip Kleutgens, has had a busy year!
So here are some of his accomplishments:
All State Band 1st alto saxophone
CCSD Honor Band alto Saxophone (3rd band)
CCSD Honor Jazz Band 1st band – 1st alto sax
Honor Saxophone Quartet – soprano, receiving “superior” in district competition, “superior” in regional competition, and “command” finalist.
Solo – alto saxophone, receiving “superior” in all categories in district competition, receiving “superior” in all categories in regional competition.
Honor Saxophone Quartet was invited and performed twice for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Saxophone Studio recital.

Two time Gateway Arts Foundation scholarship winner, Maria Kolesnik, performed an outstanding recital at UNLV on April 4, 2016.  This fine young 19 year old artist is on her way to achieving great success as a soloist.
